After the #30Daysto30Years last year, I think it’s fun to begin another counting to another year – The Journey to Chapter 31. In this series of posts, let me share with you the 31 beautiful gifts that I received, and will receive on my 31st year – life lessons, inspirations, people and everything that came from above. | 04/31

Ahh, patient. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary – able to remain calm and not become annoyed when waiting for a long time or when dealing with problems or difficult people.

This is one of the life lessons I learned since I was a child and it is a constant reminder to me. In everywhere we go, in everything we do and whoever we are with, the length of our patience is tested until we feel that we would just about to give up and about to lose hope. Do not fret! Everything will be in under God’s control.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:14, it says that we should be patient with everyone. God teaches us to remain calm, to not get annoyed with everyone — whoever they are, younger or older than us, white or black or whatever race they came from, rich or poor, famous or infamous and ALL kinds of individual. Because God is patient with all of us, with all of our sins. So why can’t we?

In every difficult situation or problem, don’t just give up. Do not let yourself lose control and carried away by emotions. Take time to say a prayer to God to help you clear your thoughts and guide you on what step you will take. I tell you, everything will soon be okay and everything will soon we on its right place. Just wait, be patient and you will see how God works in your life.
